Introduction to STEAM-STEAM education, which stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, is a way to enrich what our students are learning in the classroom in solving real-world problems.
Through STEAM lessons and experiences, students explore how scientists, engineers, and mathematicians might solve problems through scientific inquiry, collaborative brainstorming, and research and design. Through project-based learning students learn not only their academic skills, but also enhance those important soft skills such as persistence, grit, leadership, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. As a result, our students will become the leading innovators, problem-solvers, and critical thinkers that will make our world a better place! |
